May 14, 2015: We would like to thank all of the KW agents, staff and community who participated in this year’s RED Day. Through our collaborative efforts we were able to create and distribute 100 Survival Backpacks to the homeless that frequent Friends Churchin Long Beach, CA. Each backpack contained toiletries, such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, body lotion, sunscreen, Chapstick, hand sanitizer, and deodorant. In addition, they received a towel, pairs of socks, water and a snack. We always look forward to this annual day of giving and we hope that it will inspire everyone to keep the spirit of giving alive throughout the year.
